LEEDS - Piedmont coach Steve Smith knew the one player his team absolutely had to keep tabs on Thursday night was Leeds quarterback TaDarryl Marshall.

The Tennessee commitment lived up to his initials -- TD -- scoring two second-half touchdowns in sending the Class 4A, No. 4 Green Wave over Class 3A, No. 3 Piedmont 29-12 in a cross-classification battle of top five teams both coaches agreed was a "playoff atmosphere game."
