The Centre Fall Festival will be held from 7 a.m. unti 1 p.m. on Main Street in Centre. The event will feature entertainment, arts, crafts, the annual fun run and other games for children and more.
The Annual ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Highway 411 Yard sale is set for Oct. 1-Oct. 4. This yearÐÔÊӽ紫ý sale starts in Leeds, Ala., travels to Rome, Ga. (Highway 27) and ends in Cheboygan, Mich. This yearÐÔÊӽ紫ý expanded route, spreading 1068 miles, would take vendors and spectators through Leeds, Ala., Rainbow City, Ala., Gadsden, Ala., Leesburg, Ala., Cave Spring, Ga., Rome, Ga., Summerville, Ga., Knoxville, Tenn., Lexington, Ky., Dayton, Ohio, Fort Wayne, Ind., Lansing, Mi. and Cheboygan, Mich.
The Fantazia Circus is coming to town! The Circus is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m., in the Gadsden State Community College-Cherokee Arena, 801 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre. The Fantazia Circus in Centre, Alabama will offer fun for the whole family with acts such as motorcycle daredevils, acrobats, jugglers, high flying aerialist, and of course the crazy clowns that make us all laugh! The excitement begins with ONE BIG SHOW. Adult tickets are only $15 and each adult can bring two kids in for free -per paying adult. The doors open one hour before the show which runs 90 minutes. The concession stand will offer a wide variety of the best and most popular circus light up toys as well as popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, hot dogs, nachos, sodas, and bottled water.
Cherokee County Public Library hosts “Fine Free Week†the first seven days of each month. Saturday hours are 8 a.m. until noon.

Go to the intersection of ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Highway 411 and Highway 68 in Leesburg, turn right, turn left on Cherokee County 36, to the intersection of County Road 36 and County Road 70, turn left and follow the signs.
