There will be a special called meeting of the Cherokee County Board of Education on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 and will be held at the Central Office. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and items on the agenda include: A. Adopt Agenda B. Personnel C. Other D. Adjourn. The Board regularly meets on the first and third Tuesdays of a month at 6 p.m. at the Central Office.
A special called meeting of the Cherokee County Commission will be held at 4 p.m. in the Cherokee County Administration Building, 260 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre. The purpose of the meeting is discussion and adoption of the resolution governing the distribution of landfill royalties and tobacco tax. Discussion items by commissioners include discussion and adoption of the annual budget for the fiscal year Oct. 1, 2014-Sept. 30, 2015.
A special meeting of the Centre City Council will be held at 4 p.m. to discuss the fiscal 2014-2015 budget.
