Eight physicians have graduated from the Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center family medicine residency program.
Six will remain in Georgia, with one of those returning to practice with Atrium Health Floyd.
“They have all accomplished great things, and we look forward to the impact they will have in their communities,†said Dr. Kelly Culbertson, program director and designated institutional official. “Family medicine is the cornerstone of a healthy society — providing comprehensive, continuous and compassionate care across all stages of life.â€
♦ Dr. Jacob Collier will be staying with the health care system, at Atrium Health Floyd Primary Care Family Medicine & Pediatrics Polk in Cedartown.
♦ Dr. Sophia Kirchhoff will be providing outpatient primary care in Polk County.
♦ Dr. Gracie Murray will be treating patients at an outpatient medicine clinic in Ringgold.
♦ Drs. Taylor Murray and Caleb Swindell will be practicing in Chatsworth.
♦ Dr. Jordan Grizzle will return to his home in Blairsville, where he will be working in an outpatient clinic.
♦ Dr. Sierra Armbrust will be seeing patients in the Chattanooga area.
♦ Dr. Meg Dotson is moving to Oregon, where she will be a primary care physician.

The Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center family medicine residency program opened in 1976 and is one of the oldest family medicine residency programs in Georgia. The program offers hands-on experience to residents in preparation for full-time medical careers.
