Book Launch Event for Jeanne CahillÐÔÊӽ紫ý 'Call Me Jeanne' Set for May 25 at The Cypress
HAPEVILLE, GA — Jeanne Cahill, a 92-year-old debut author and longtime Georgia resident, will celebrate the release of her memoir, "Call Me Jeanne," with a book launch event on Sunday, May 25 from 2-4 p.m. at The Cypress in Hapeville (3532 S Fulton Avenue). The public is invited to attend, and media are welcome to cover the event or schedule interviews with the author.
"Call Me Jeanne" offers a poignant, firsthand look at life in rural Georgia during the Great Depression and World War II, woven with reflections on family, service, and the American South. The memoir includes her experience volunteering during WWII, raising a family in a changing world, and supporting the gubernatorial and presidential campaigns of President Jimmy Carter.
“JeanneÐÔÊӽ紫ý voice is warm, wise, and unforgettable,†says Vickie McEntire, publisher at Colorful Crow Publishing. “She reminds us how much stories of resilience, community, and service still matter today.â€
Guests at the event will have the opportunity to meet the author, enjoy light refreshments, and purchase signed copies of the book.
