ROME — The Floyd County Board of Commissioners made a clear decision May 27, to disregard valid concerns brought to them by local community members. The community still has no idea what data is being stored in the new Atlas Development data center proposed in the Coosa area, nor whether county public services can handle the maintenance of it. Still, our local government decided to approve the project because of the property tax it would bring.
