MABLETON — Residents living along Riverside Parkway are demanding urgent action to address what they describe as “unsafe,†“unsanitary,†and “neglected†living conditions in their apartment communities — many of which have been deteriorating for years.

In a wave of emails sent to the Cobb County Board of Commissioners and Mableton City Council this month, residents from Five 7 Five, Residence at Riverside Row and Silver Creek Crossings apartment complexes shared stories of pest infestations, uncut grass towering above windows, broken windows, leaks and other hazardous conditions.
