A Floyd County man is facing charges after police say he set off an explosive device at his former workplace on Turner McCall Boulevard Tuesday afternoon, reports state.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
William Craig Crabtree, 64, is charged with felony possession of explosives with intent to kill, injure or destroy, manufacturing of an explosive device, and possession of an explosive device by a convicted felon.
This incident appears unrelated to several recent arrests for possession and production of explosive devices, according to Rome Police ÐÔÊӽ紫ý officials.
Reports state that Crabtree is a disgruntled former employee who has harassed the owner and former coworkers since his termination.
He remained in jail without bond as of Friday.
